Clomid Protocols
Clomiphene Citrate = Clomid and CCCT = CCT.
When doing a CCCT, you test FSH on CD3. Then, take 100mg Clomid cd5-9 and re-test FSH on CD10. When I did mine, I was told to take 50mg in the am and 50 in the pm. So I did.
My next cycle I was on 100mg of Clomid again for stims and I took it on the same schedule. However, on my third cycle, again on the 100mg, my RE told me I should be taking it as 100mg starting the evening of cd5.
When taking Clomid as a stim, it can be taken cd3-7, cd4-8 or cd5-9. The theory is that the earlier you start, the more follicles you get, the later you start, the better quality follicles you get (in theory).
Also, women who have short follicular phases are usually told to start on the earlier schedule.
